About this puzzle

This hard puzzle hides 18 garden words in a 15×15 grid. Words can run in any of the eight directions — including backwards, upwards and diagonally upwards.

Garden tip: Flower names are short and vowel-heavy (IRIS, LILY, ROSE). Start with the long, consonant-rich words such as GREENHOUSE and COMPOST, then hunt the flowers.

Source: USDA ARS calls the Plant Hardiness Zone Map the standard for which perennials are most likely to thrive at a location. USDA Agricultural Research Service: 2023 USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map.
